Registration for CONNECTOR Competition Law Trainings - Extended Deadline

Due to a technical error in the text of the invitation sent to courts, we extend the registration deadline under the "CONNECTOR - CompetitiOn law coNnects challeNges in digital markEts, intelleCtual properTy and air transport" Project by Friday, 22.06.2018.

The purpose of the training is to to provide national judges with the necessary knowledge and skills to apply and enforce competition rules and principles in the context of specific markets, highly driven by innovation, technological advancement and the flow of data, and to deepen the knowledge of national judges of the complex relationships in the interaction between data protection, consumer law, modern technology, intellectual property and competition law.

The events will be held as follows:

Intellectual Property Ownership as a Determinant Factor in Legal Competitive Assessments, 04-06 July 2018, RIU Pravets Golf & SPA Resort;

Application оf EU Competition Law Tools and Concepts тo Digital Markets, 09-11 July 2018, RIU Pravets Golf & SPA Resort;

The Role of Data and Innovation for Competition. Competition Concerns in the Air Transport, 11-13 July 2018, RIU Pravets Golf & SPA Resort.

CONNECTOR lecturers are specialists from Bulgaria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Greece with many years of practical experience on the topics proposed.

The registration is open for judges from the Supreme Court of Cassation, the Supreme Administrative Court, the appellate courts and the district courts.

The participation of judges in the proposed trainings is free of charged. LIBRe Foundation provides each participant with: hotel accommodation (including accommodation, breakfast and tourist fees for a single-room accommodation), lunch, dinner and coffee breaks for each day of the training program; and covers transport costs.
